2011 Ford Edge Second Generation

The second generation Ford Edge was unveiled on February 12, 2010 at the 2010 Chicago Auto Show. Exterior changes include a new front fascia, wheels, and a revised bumper with LED taillights, while the revamped interior will feature upgraded materials and capacitive touch controls in place of some conventional buttons and switches, which can also be seen on the second-generation Lincoln MKX.

Three new engines are offered for the second generation, a 2.0L ecoboost engine will be offered, a 3.5L duratec with Ti-VCT makes 285hp and 253 lb.-ft. of torque, it gets 27mpg on the highway. For the Sport model Ford will offer the same 3.7L duratec engine that is offered in the 2011 Lincoln MKX

Toyota Avalon 2011 Model

For the 2011 model year the Avalon has been updated and significantly restyled with a more contemporary look. Making its first appearance at the 2010 Chicago Auto Show sales will begin the following April with only two trimlines: a base Avalon model and a more upscale Limited trim. A backup camera is now standard using either the rear view mirror or navigation screen for a display, and exterior side mirrors now fold. The updated navigation system now features real-time traffic updates. Other new features include redesigned instrument cluster and center console, new wood trim, and a different rear fascia design. Fuel economy has been slightly improved to an EPA-estimated 20/29/23 (city/highway/combined) rating
